A strong second half saw France notch up their first win in the November Internationals with a 28-13 victory over Argentina. Argentina got off to the perfect start with a try after one minute to lead 7-0.

The sides traded penalties before a French try reduced the deficit to two points at 10-8. A second French penalty saw the hosts take the lead into the break by the slightest of margins at 11-10. An early second half penalty saw Argentina regain the lead, but France responded with their second try shortly after for an 18-13 advantage.

France would finish the match the stronger of the teams, with a late penalty and their third try rounding out a well deserved win.
