Player Movements: Munster

Munster have been bolstering their squad for the upcoming season with 4 signings.

Here are the players that will sharpen their 2016/17 campaign:

Sam Arnold (signed 4 February 2016 from Ulster)

Arnold, who hails from England, made his PRO12 debut as an 18-year-old in March 2015 and completed the season as Ulster Rugby's Academy Player of the Year.

Munster have acquired the outside centre on a two-year deal, which begins at the start of the 2016/17 season.

John Andress (signed 29 March 2016 from Edinburgh Rugby)

Andress has had spells with the Exeter Chiefs, Worcester and Harlequins before moving to Scotland in 2014 - he has gone on to make 51 appearances for Edinburgh.

The 32-year-old, who has been capped by Ireland at U21 and 'A' levels, has made the move over from Pro12 rivals Edinburgh on a one-year deal that started last month (July).

Darren O'Shea (signed 29 March 2016 from Worcester Warriors)

O'Shea's signing marks a return to the province after he came through the Munster academy system.

He joined Worcester at the start of 2014/15 and has gone on to play 27 times for the club.

Jean Kleyn (signed 25 July 2016 from Stormers)

Kleyn made 17 appearances for Stormers, while also establishing himself as a regular for South African side Western Province in the Currie Cup.

The 22-year-old will join Munster on a three-year deal starting this month (August), after spending two years in Super Rugby.
