Players to Watch: Leinster v Toulouse

Arguably the game of the weekend pits last season's Champions against a side that toppled them in their most recent encounter.

Leinster and Toulouse lock horns at the RDS Arena in what promises to be a titanic clash.

Here are the players we think you should keep an eye on in this fixture:

Thomas Ramos - Toulouse

Toulouse has been in incredible form of late with starting halfback Antonie Dupont producing stellar performances after stellar performances. However, Toulouse’s utility back Thomas Ramos has been equally, if not more, impressive. His kicking from the tee has been pinpoint and he has been an absolute delight to watch on the counter-attack. HIs performances recently have earned him a place in the France Six Nations squad.

Jordan Larmour - Leinster

The young Leinster outside back is set to fill in for the suspended James Lowe this weekend providing Larmour with the perfect opportunity to further test himself. The speedster, like Ramos, will look to put in a big performance to put him in contention for a place in the Ireland 23 to face England next month. A strong two weeks could see Larmour start the test against England which would arguably be his most difficult test he has started.

Antoine Dupont - Toulouse

It's hard to include Dupont in a list like this even when Toulouse have a backline that includes the likes of Yoann Huget, Romain N'tamack, Cheslin Kolbe and Maxime Medard - to name a few.

However, Dupont has been nothing short of sensational this season whether playing scrumhalf or flyhalf this season.

He can turn the game on its head a split-second and has a wide range of skills and is runs superb support lines.

Ross Byrne - Leinster

Byrne has the near impossible job of filling Jonathan Sexton's boots this weekend with the World Player of the Year currently sidelined through injury.

The tasks will not be a daunting one for the young outhalf who has produced match-winning performances for Leinster in the past.

This clash will also be an important one for the likes of Jack Conan and Josh van der Flier who are in very competitive positions in the Ireland squad but Byrne has a massive responsibility on his hand's this weekend and one he can thrive in.
