Premiership Highlights: Gloucester v Leicester Tigers

Ollie Thorley stole the show with four first half tries as Gloucester secured a 46-30 home win over the Leicester Tigers in a pulsating round 17 Premiership clash. Leicester opened the scoring with a penalty, but Gloucester hit back with two tries to open up a 12-3 lead. Leicester pulled three points back with a second penalty, but Gloucester then ran rampant, crossing for four tries in ten minutes to race into a 36-6 advantage. Leicester would score a late first half try as Gloucester held a comfortable 23 point margin at the break. Leicester came out a different animal in the second half, running in two tries and adding a penalty to reduce the deficit to just six points at 36-30 and set up an intense final 15 minutes. A Gloucster penalty made it a two score ball game to give the hosts some breathing room before the game was put to bed with the Cherry and Whites seventh try bringing to an end a highly entertaining match.
