Premiership Highlights: Harlequins v Exeter Chiefs

Harlequins put an end to Exeter's unbeaten start to the Premiership as they held on for a 28-26 home win in round 9. Harlequins opened the scoring with an early penalty, but Exeter hit back with the first try to lead 5-3. Harlequins would finish the first half strongly, crossing for two tries to take a 13-5 advantage into the halftime break. Exeter struck first in the second half, with their second try reducing the deficit to just a single point at 13-12. Harlequins responded shortly after with their third try to again make it an eight point ball game. The Chiefs once again stormed back, with a try with a little under 20 minutes to play closing the gap to just a point at 20-19. A penalty extended the lead for Harlequins before the bonus point try with 5 minute to play made it 28-19. The sea-saw battle continued as an intercept try closed the gap to just two points heading into the final minute. The comeback was not to be however, as Harlequins managed to close out the victory and end Exeter's unbeaten run of eight Premiership wins.
