Premiership Highlights: Wasps vs Northampton Saints

Wasps returned to winning ways with a 27-16 home win over the Northampton Saints to bring round 12 of the Premiership to a close. Wasps took their opportunities to run in two tries in the opening 22 minutes to lead 14-3. Saints hit back with their first try to reduce the deficit to four points. Wasps kicked a penalty to make it a seven point ball game, but two Saints penalties in the final 5 minutes of the first half saw the first trail by just as ingle point 17-16 at the break. Wasps struck first in the second half with a controversial try to take control of the match at 24-16. Momentum had swung in Wasps favour and the hosts slotted a penalty with a little over 15 minutes remaining to seal the victory.
