QUIZ: Can You List The Current Top 20 Test Teams In Order Of Their Ranking?

QUIZ: Can You List The Current Top 20 Test Teams In Order Of Their Ranking?

The World Rugby Rankings are updated on the Monday after each test weekend. The ranking system was introduced the month before the 2003 Rugby World Cup, with the first new rankings issued on 8 September 2003.

New Zealand have dominated the rankings for a lot of the time they have been in place but in recent times the top spot has been traded between numerous times with Wales and Ireland both reaching the summit in 2019.

All member countries have a rating, typically between 0 and 100. The top side in the world will normally have a rating above 90. Any match that is not a full international between two member countries does not count at all.

There are currently 105 teams ranked with American Samoa occupying bottom place. In this Quiz, we test your knowledge of the top 20 sides and see if you can rank all 20 in order.

Instructions: After clicking 'Play' simply type the name of a player that you think is on the list. If correct, the answer will automatically enter the list. If the answer is incorrect, nothing will happen and you'll need to erase what you've written and try again.

Let us know how you did on Facebook but don't give any of the answers away.

* Note you must list the teams in order from top to 20th. The rankings are as of 09 March, 2020.
