RWC Rewind Canada: Charron vs Romania in 1995

During the final weeks of waiting for Rugby World Cup 2019 to arrive, Americas Rugby News has taken a look back at some moments from past RWCs involving competitors from the Americas.

This week, the feature team is Canada.

In day two of the series the feature is Al Charron’s first try from RWC 1995. The score was in Canada’s first match of the competition and would be the first of two tournament tries by Charron.

In a memorable performance Canada were 34-3 winners over Romania in Port Elizabeth. Charron’s try was the first of three. The two others went to prop Rod Snow, and N8 Colin McKenzie.
