Super Rugby 2019 Rd 6 Highlights: Sunwolves v Lions

The Lions made it three wins in a row with a 37-24 away victory over the Sunwolves in round 6 of Super Rugby. The Sunwolves were awarded an early penalty try, with the Lions picking up a yellow card in the process. The Lions began to gain the ascendency, using their rolling maul to good effect to drive over for two tries to take a 12-7 advantage into the halftime break. The Sunwolves kicked an early second half penalty, but the Lions cut loose to run in three tries to pull away 29-10 with a little under 20 minutes to play. The Sunwolves hit back shortly after with a try before the Lions added three points with a penalty to lead 32-17. Each side would run in a late score as the Lions moved to the top of the South African Conference for the time being.
