Super Rugby 2019 Rd 6 Highlights: Waratahs v Crusaders

The Waratahs handed the Crusaders their first defeat of the season as they ground out a 20-12 home win in round 6 of Super Rugby. The Waratahs started like a house on fire as they ran in two early tries to build a 12-0 lead. The Crusaders hit back with their first try, but the Waratahs added a late first half penalty to take a 15-7 advantage into the break. The second half was an arm wrestle, but the Waratahs were dominating territory and playing in the right areas of the field. The Waratahs eventually scored the first points of the second half, going over for their third try inside the final ten minutes to push their lead out to 20-7. The Crusaders would break from their own 22 with time up on the clock to score their second try, but the conversion to sneak a losing bonus point went wide.
