Tonight's top performers

Tonight's Aviva Premiership threw up some good rugby, with these 3 guys impressing us.

Matt Garvey

The dynamic lock seemed to cover every blade of grass tonight as he made himself available for a number of important carries. Garvey proved difficult to deal with in attack and provided Bath with some huge tackles which helped them soak up the Bristol pressure.

Stephen Myler

The Saints certainly could not have come away with the four points tonight without their level-headed out-half. Myler scored all of his sides eighteen points from the tee, as he had an almost unblemished kicking performance. He missed only one place kick as his side came away with the one point win. The Englishman ran the game well and put in some fantastic up-and-unders which put the Worcester back three under serious pressure. He is proving his value to this Northampton side this season, as he holds off pressure from second choice, JJ Hanrahan, to retain the starting ten shirt.

Nathan Catt

The prop led from the front doing the dirty work for Bath tonight. Catt proved invaluable at scrum time and acted as a ruck clearing machine tonight. Catt stepped his game up tonight in a Bath side which were missing some of their big names. Catt's fantastic performance earned him the man of the match award.
