Top 14 Highlights - Bordeaux vs Montpellier

Bordeaux and Montpellier could not be separated as the sides played out to a 9-9 draw in round 3 of the French Top 14. Two early penalties saw Bordeaux into a 6-0 lead, but Montpellier halved the deficit with a penalty on the stroke of halftime making it 6-3 at the break. Despite missing two very kickable penalties early in the second half, Bordeaux extended their advantage to 9-3 15 minutes in. Montpellier once again closed the gap to just three points with a penalty with around 15 minutes to play. The visitors would slot a further penalty with just a couple of minutes remaining to earn a share of the spoils.
