Kurtley Beale
One of his best games in the Wallabies jersey in a long time. Played the second playmaker role phenomenally controlling the tempo of the Australian attack. Looked so dangerous going forward and for Folau's disallowed try he made a lovely arcing run to setup the move. From the boot he also was flawless, his up n under kick for Folau lead to a great second Australian try. Hard to stop when he's in this form.
Israel Folau
Folau was one of the standout performers in a very impressive Wallaby performance this afternoon as they secured an impressive victory over Ireland. He dominated the aerial battle, soaring through the air time and time again to pluck up and unders out of the sky. He was rock solid in defence and caused Ireland a host of problems with ball in hand.
David Pocock
The Wallaby stalwart was back to his brilliant best this afternoon and played a key role in his side's series-opening victory. He consistently got in over the ball to disrupt the speed of the Irish attack and managed to secure a staggering four turnovers. He was also impervious in defence and looked to get his hands on the ball as often as possible in attack.
