Wasps' participation in final in precarious position

Another round of testing at Wasps has yielded four new cases at the club, resulting is isolation for the majority of player and coaching personnel.

The news comes at the worst possible time as Wasps are busy preparing themselves to do battle with Exeter in the Premiership final on Saturday. This latest development, however, has made their participation somewhat tenuous.


Acting on the advice of the Premiership’s medical professionals, Wasps, at this stage, will not be training this week ahead of the final.

Another round is testing is now scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday), the results of which will decide whether Wasps will indeed participate in the final or surrender their position to Bristol Bears instead, who were losing semi-finalists.
