Dai Young spoke about his son's selection in the Wales Six Nations squad.
The Wasps' head coach said he was pleased that Thomas was selected and said 'he thoroughly deserves it'.
Young earned his first test call up and could make his test debut during the Six Nations with Ellis Jenkins missing the entire competition through injury. The flanker has been one of the Wasps' most consistent performers and Dai Young feels that he has been overlooked in the past.
Dai Young vouched for his son's attitude and professionalism before mentioning Dan Robson, along with Thomas, as players who have worked hard to push for test call ups.
The Wasps' boss then went onto talk about Thomas' game, mentioning how he has improved and become more consistent.
