Tom Cruse

30th Mar 1989 1.77m/99kg Hooker

Cruse began his senior playing career at Stockport Rugby where his talent was apparent, earning him a place at the Sale Sharks Academy. After a season with Sale he signed for Rotherham.

Cruse was the stand-out hooker in the RFU Championship in the 2015 season while playing for Rotherham Titans, before signing with London Irish for the 2015/2016 season.

In early March 2016, the hooker announced his move to Wasps for that season. Cruse previously represented Stockport, Sale Sharks, Macclesfield, Rotherham Titans and London Irish, before linking back up with his former Rotherham Head Coach, now Wasps’ Backs Coach, Lee Blackett, in black and gold last season.

Cruse featured in seven out of the club’s 11 games by November 2017, before signing a contract extension with the club.

As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Cruse has had 11 European Cups appearances scoring 2 tries and 10 points.
