Joaquín Oviedo, born on 17 July 2001, is an Argentine rugby union player who currently represents the Top 14 side Perpignan. He is known for his versatility and excels in the positions of flanker or Number 8.
Oviedo's professional career began when he joined the Jaguares XV team to compete in the Súper Liga Americana de Rugby in 2021. This opportunity allowed him to gain valuable experience and showcase his talent on a professional platform.
Ahead of the 2021-22 Top 14 season, Oviedo made a move to Perpignan, a prominent French club. Joining a competitive league like Top 14 provided him with the chance to further develop his skills and challenge himself against top-level opposition.
