Leolin Lucien Zas, born on 20 October 1995, is a South African rugby player who is known for his speed and ability to punish defenses when given space. He primarily plays as a winger and center. Zas has represented the Stormers in Super Rugby and Western Province in the Currie Cup and Rugby Challenge.

Zas began his rugby career in Hermanus and represented Boland in the Under-18 Craven Week competition in 2013. He impressed with his performances, scoring 18 points for Boland, including a try against Limpopo Blue Bulls. His performances earned him a spot in the South African Schools team, where he made two appearances in the 2013 Under-18 International Series, helping his team to victories over France and Wales.

After finishing school, Zas joined the Western Province Rugby Institute and played for the Western Province U19 team in the 2014 Under-19 Provincial Championship. He scored five tries during the season and played a crucial role in Western Province's championship-winning campaign, including scoring in the final against the Blue Bulls U19s.

In 2015, Zas was selected for the South Africa Under-20 training squad and represented them in warm-up matches against a Varsity Cup Dream Team and Argentina. He made the final squad for the 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Championship and started in all of South Africa's pool matches, scoring tries against Samoa and Australia. Although South Africa was eliminated in the semi-finals, Zas played in the third-place play-off match against France, helping his team secure the bronze medal.

Zas made his Currie Cup debut for Western Province in 2015 and also represented the Western Province U21 team in the Under-21 Provincial Championship. He continued his domestic appearances and earned a call-up to the South Africa 'A' squad for their series against England Saxons in 2016.

Injuries prevented Zas from making an appearance in the 2017 Super Rugby season. However, in November 2017, he signed with the Sharks and joined them for the 2018 Super Rugby season. Overall, he has scored 40 points in 15 Super Rugby appearances since his debut in 2016.

Zas is known for his speed and ability to exploit gaps in opposition defenses. His performances in both sevens and 15-man rugby have highlighted his talent, and he continues to make an impact in the South African rugby scene.
