Making his way back to Japan rugby through New Zealand where he spent much of his early rugby days, Ono played his 2nd World Cup in 2015.
Having joined Suntory Sungoliath in 2012, Ono has made 62 appearances, scoring an impressive 418 points for the Japanese Top League side.
