Tedo Abzhandadze is a talented Georgian rugby union player who plays as a fly-half. He has been part of the new generation of Georgian players who are breaking the trend of focusing solely on producing strong front rowers.

Abzhandadze made his mark in the Georgian U20 side, featuring in every match at the 2017 and 2018 editions of the U20 Championship. His performances in the competition caught the attention of French club Brive, and he secured a contract with them, committing until 2022.

At the age of 19, Abzhandadze earned his test debut for the Georgian senior team. He was given the starting fly-half position against Samoa in November 2018.

Since then, he has represented the senior side seven times, always in the starting lineup, and has been responsible for scoring 32 points, all from the kicking tee.

Abzhandadze's skill and potential have not gone unnoticed, as he has once again been included in the Georgian U20 squad for the 2019 U20 Championship.
