Tomás Cubelli, born on June 12, 1989, is an Argentine rugby union player who primarily plays as a scrum-half. He currently represents Biarritz in the French Pro D2 and the Argentina national team.

Cubelli began his rugby career with Belgrano Athletic Club, the same club his father, Alejandro, played for. He made his debut for Argentina in 2010 during the South American Rugby Championship. In 2011, he joined the Pampas XV team that went on to win the Vodacom Cup, an achievement they repeated in 2012. Cubelli continued to excel, scoring tries and impressing with his performances.

In 2015, Cubelli signed with the Brumbies, an Australian Super Rugby franchise, as the replacement for scrum-half Nic White. He made his debut for the Brumbies in the opening round of the 2016 season and had a successful first year, earning praise from coach Stephen Larkham. Cubelli scored several tries during the season, showcasing his running abilities and contributing to the team's victories.

However, Cubelli's 2017 season was marred by injuries, and he played only a few matches. Following his injury struggles, he returned to Argentina and signed a contract until the end of 2019. He joined the Jaguares, representing his native country in Super Rugby.

Cubelli has also had an impressive international career. He was part of the Argentina team that finished fourth in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Although he primarily served as the second-choice scrum-half behind Martín Landajo during the tournament, he made notable contributions, including scoring tries against Georgia and New Zealand.

In 2020, Cubelli joined the Western Force, an Australian Super Rugby team, for the 2021 season. He later signed with Biarritz for the 2021/22 Top 14 season.

Throughout his career, Cubelli has demonstrated his skill, versatility, and dynamic playing style. He is known for his passing range, quick decision-making, and involvement in various levels of Argentine rugby, from U19 to senior international matches. As of June 2020, Cubelli has amassed 75 international appearances for Argentina, scoring 60 points.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Cubelli has been named in the squad for Argentina.
