Impressing at a young age in Georgian Club Rugby, Kolelishvili made his debut for the National side at the tender age of 18.
Impressive on both attack and defence, he soon signed for Clermont where he excelled in the U23 league and represented his country at the 2011 RWC.
He stayed in the national set-up and was part of the 31 man squad in the 2015 RWC.
After a brief spell in the Top 14 with Lyon, the Georgian back row rejoined Clermont in 2014, his 3rd consecutive season with the Top 14 champions.
Ahead of the 2017 November Internationals, Kolelishvili had represented Los Lelos on 41 occasions.
In September 2020, he announced his retirement from rugby following a two-year absence caused by injury.
