Corey Flynn

Flynn has been an important member of the Crusaders squad since moving from Southland in 2002. He brings physicality and toughness to the front row, as well as valuable experience.

Flynn celebrated 100 Super rugby caps in the 2011 semi final match against the Stormers in Cape Town and earned 150 caps before departing for French club Toulouse in 2014.

Flynn made his international debut for the All Blacks against Canada in the 2003 Rugby World Cup. He was also included in the 2011 RWC squad that went on to win the title and has previously played for New Zealand Maori and the Junior All Blacks. To date he has earned 15 caps for New Zealand.

Flynn joined Glasgow Warriors in the summer of 2015 signing from Toulouse in the Top 14.

In May 2017, it was announced that Flynn will leave Glasgow Warriors with a year left on his contract.

Flynn became the only Warrior to have won the World Cup when he joined Glasgow in 2016, having lifted the Webb Ellis trophy with the All Blacks in 2011.

He returned to New Zealand and linked up with club side West Coast in the lower division of New Zealand Rugby and spent the season with the club before representing the World XV against Japan.

Flynn announced his retirement in 2017 bringing a 17-year long career in three countries (New Zealand, France and Scotland) and included 15 Tests caps, over 150 Super Rugby Caps and a Rugby World Cup winner's medal.
