Ethan Hooker is a powerful, versatile utility back from Westville Boys’ High School, who has excelled in center, wing thanks to his unique physicality.
He debuted for the Sharks in early 2023, quickly earning recognition with standout performances in the URC and Challenge Cup.
In July 2025, he made his Springbok debut off the bench versus Italy in Gqeberha. Coaches and teammates alike see him as a long-term midfield asset for South Africa.
