Described by his teammates as 'old school' in his playing style, George Timmins has
progressed through the Men's Pathway with caps at each age-grade for England. He studied
at Millfield School and began his rugby playing days with Market Harborough RFC.
He played in all five of England's U20 Six Nations games in 2025 and went on to earn further
vital gametime for Nottingham Rugby with three appearances in the Championship. He
made his Bath debut vs. Saracens in May as a replacement.
The Kettering-born back-rower's rugby inspirations include former England back-rower Neil
Back, which should come as little surprise given George's abrasive and impactful work
ethic around the park. The 20-year-old also credits Simon Dowling as his most influential
community coach.
