Kelly Brazier

Kelly Brazier is a distinguished women’s
rugby player across Black Ferns and
Black Ferns Sevens, renowned for her
versatility and leadership on the field.
She began her rugby journey at a
young age, playing for Otago and later
representing Canterbury and Bay of Plenty
in the Farah Palmer Cup. Her exceptional
skills and leadership were instrumental in
Chiefs Manawa’s triumph in the inaugural
Sky Super Rugby Aupiki title in 2022.
Brazier made her Black Ferns debut in
2009 and has since earned over 40 test
caps contributing to team successes in
multiple Rugby World Cups. She’s been a
pivotal member of the Black Ferns Sevens,
securing Olympic gold and silver medals
as well as gold and bronze at
Commonwealth Games.
