At nearly 2 meters tall and well over 130kg, Fonua, is an intimidating loose forward. He made the move to Leicester Tigers but not before making a huge name for himslef in France where he played over 140 games and scored 44 tries for Agen. He represented Tonga in the 2015 RWC.
In August 2016, it was announced that Fonua had signed for Newcastle Falcons.
