A powerful prop, who, in his Pontypridd days especially, is known for his try scoring exploits. Hobbs’ impressive club form saw him selected for both the Wales and Cardiff Blues under 20’s. Hobbs’ was eventually given his chance with the Blues’ first team towards the end of the 2008-2009 season.
Since then Hobbs has gone onto make over 100 appearances for the Blues and is one of the first names on the teamsheet.
In February 2016, he is signed with Dragons on a two-year deal.
