The Human Movement Sciences graduate from the University of Fort Hare
has turned everything she touched on the sporting field into green and
gold. As a national age group cricket player, Mpupha’s decision to take
up rugby has been endorsed by several national selections in fifteens and
sevens rugby. She co-captained the Springbok Women’s Sevens team at
both the 2018 and 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens & Commonwealth Games
tournaments before representing the Springbok Women at the previous
Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. She is the leading try scorer in Springbok
Women history. In 2022 Mpupha had a season with the Exeter Chiefs in
England but has now settled with the Bulls Daisies. She formed part of the
historic first Rugby Sevens squad to participate in the Olympics at the Paris
2024 Games.
