Michelle Curry

Registered Nurse - Curry is a netball convert and is in the elite group of siblings representing their country
in Rugby for Men and Women. She played High School rugby for Nelson College for Girls. Her inclusion in
the World Cup is reward for her tenacity and grit given her non-selection over the last two years. Curry
came back into the reckoning having played in this year’s Oceania Championship and has since made
every post a winner. She has had high level experience having played for Tasman in the Farah Palmer
Cup, and is a member of the Inaugural 2017 team. Curry has also turned her hand to touch rugby where
her Nelson mixed team won the 2023 NZ Championship.
Hobbies: Sudoku and watching documentaries
Role Models: Mum, my brother Michael and God.
