Tayla Kinsey

5th Sep 1993 1.65m/65kg Scrum Half

Kinsey was the youngest squad member of the 2014 Rugby World Cup
squad in France, where she played in three matches and 11 years later is
now the most capped scrumhalf ever and second most capped player
in the squad. A solid kicker of the ball, Kinsey has been used as a backup flyhalf as well, adding to her value to the team. Kinsey’s ability to stay
calm and keep her pack in the game will be massive against the top sides
the Springbok Women will face for the rest of the year. She has been
an instrumental part of the squad post RWC 2022 and holds a strong
leadership role in the squad, often running the cutter when the rest of the
leadership had been substituted.
