Knight, brother of Gloucester Rugby centre Max and cousin prop Ciaran, joined the Cherry and
Whites' academy aged 13 and started off in rugby at Longlevens RFC. Teammates would
describe him as 'trustworthy'.
The 18-year-old has had a stellar few months, including playing in the Premiership Rugby U18
Academy League finals day at home stadium, Kingsholm. Playing alongside childhood friends
from primary school that day was Knight's proudest rugby memory. No stranger to the U20
environment, Knight was first invited to train alongside the U20 Men in the recent Six Nations.
Describing playing for England as '... all I've ever dreamed off since childhood', the Hartpury
student made his England U19 debut vs. Japan before his first U18 involvement in the 2025 U18
Six Nations Festival. With an eye for the tryline, Knight touched down vs. France in Vichy and
then against Scotland in his second U19 cap. The energetic centre scored a stunning solo try
vs, Georgia in an uncapped fixture in June.
