Byrhandre Dolf

4th Jul 2003 1.69m/62kg Fly Half

Dolf is a poster child of the current women’s rugby pathway, as she
played in the U16 and U18 Girls Weeks for Eastern Province, captained
the Junior Springboks in 2022 and made her international debut in
2023 as a 19-year-old. She has hardly missed a beat since that first cap
and already played in 20 test matches, missing only two international
selections since making her debut against Canada in Madrid. To add to
her bow of achievements, the playmaker, who earned caps at flyhalf,
wing and fullback, also played for the Springbok Women’s Sevens team
on the HSBC SVNS circuit and represented Team South Africa at the
2024 Paris Olympics. Dolf’s ability to identify and manipulate space, nifty
running skills and a good learning curve bode well for a long career in
the green and gold.
