ACT Brumbies Team List: Round 1 v Melbourne Rebels

The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies side has been named for the club's first 2024 Super Rugby Pacific fixture of the season against the Melbourne Rebels at AAMI Park, this Friday evening (7:35PM AEDT).

Head Coach Stephen Larkham has selected a strong side, welcoming back recent 2023 John Eales Medal recipient Rob Valetini, who will combine with Luke Reimer and Charlie Cale in the backrow.

Led by Ryan Lonergan, the side will feature plenty of international experience with the likes of James Slipper, Tom Hooper, Noah Lolesio, Len Ikitau, Tom Wright, Billy Pollard and Blake Schoupp named in the line-up.

 The match will carry extra meaning for Wallabies lock Nick Frost, who is in line to play his 50th Super Rugby Pacific cap for the ACT Brumbies, debuting off the bench in 2020 against the Rebels.
