Backs coach Ali Hepher praised the mentality of Exeter Chiefs after they overcame a tricky start to hammer London Welsh 74-19 at Sandy Park on Saturday.

It was a record Premiership victory for Exe, surpassing the 52-0 success in the reverse fixture earlier this season, but it was not all plain sailing.
