Following the signing of Sione Piukala and Venione Voretamaya, Fédérale 1 level club Narbonne have now acquired the signature of Samoan David Smith for the 2019/20 season.
The 34-year-old played four seasons with Toulon having joined in 2011/12, winning the Champions Cup in 2013, 2014 and 2015. He also won the TOP14 in 2014 and helped the side to the Top 14 and Challenge Cup final in 2012.
After 99 appearances with the French giants, he moved to Castres for the 2015/16 season where he helped the side to a TOP14 title in 2018.
Narbonne were relegated from Pro D2 in 2018 after winning just nine of 20 matches.
