Ealing Trailfinders sign Seb Stegmann

Seb Stegmann is the latest player to join Ealing Trailfinders for the 2017-18 season and he will arrive from Yorkshire Carnegie in time for the start of pre-season.

The 28-year-old can play wing, fullback and centre. Stegmann made his debut for the Yorkshiremen against Ealing Trailfinders early in the 2015-16 season and he ended his debut campaign with six tries in 20 appearances.

This season he added a further five scores from 15 appearances, including two in the play-off final second leg.

Stegmann signed for Carnegie from London Welsh after two and a half years at the Exiles. He played for them in their two seasons in the Aviva Premiership and helped them beat Bristol in the play-off final in 2013-14.

"Seb is a top class finisher and I'm delighted to have him join our squad for next season,” Director of Rugby Ben Ward said. "He is great in the air and will add more experience to our back three.
