Gloucester Injury Report

Gloucester Rugby’s Head of Medical, Eoin Power, has issued an update following a run of injuries amongst squad.

The Cherry & Whites sustained further blows to the side with both Santiago Socino and Alex Craig leaving the pitch early during Saturday’s win against London Irish.

Socino (knee) & Craig (shoulder) will both see specialists this week to advise on management of their injuries.

Prior to that, Louis Rees-Zammit and Adam Hastings picked up issues in the Leicester fixture. Rees-Zammit injured his ankle and is completing rehabilitation with the club’s performance staff, while unfortunately, Adam Hastings will require surgery after injuring his shoulder.

Jamal Ford-Robinson and Jordy Reid will return to training in the coming weeks as they recover from a chest and ankle injury respectively.

Fraser Balmain and Mark Atkinson are progressing well post their respective knee surgeries and are on track to return in the pre-season as is Jack Singleton who underwent lower leg surgery after being injured against Northampton Saints.

Puma, Mayco Vivas continues to rehabilitate at the club after suffering an arm injury while representing Argentina in the autumn after signing with the club.
