Harlequins will look to create history against Toulouse

Harlequins have named their matchday squad for Sunday’s Investec Champions Cup semi-final against Toulouse (KO 15:00 BST, live on TNT Sports / ITV 1).

Taking place at a sold-out Stadium de Toulouse, Sunday’s fixture will be Harlequins’ first ever Investec Champions Cup semi-final, following 2023/24 wins over Bordeaux Begles, Glasgow Warriors, Ulster Rugby, Cardiff Rugby and Racing 92.

The matchday squad features just one change following the 41-32 win over Northampton Saints, with the experienced James Chisholm returning from injury as an Impact Player.

Up front, Fin Baxter and Will Collier pack down alongside hooker Jack Walker. Irne Herbst and Stephan Lewies maintain their second-row partnership, with Chandler Cunningham-South and Will Evans on the flanks. Alex Dombrandt continues at number eight.

In the backs, Danny Care and Marcus Smith form the halves combination with Andre Esterhuizen and Luke Northmore in the midfield. The back three partnership of Cadan Murley, Louis Lynagh and Tyrone Green continues for the seventh consecutive match.

Amongst the Impact Players, Sam Riley, Joe Marler and Simon Kerrod add front-row experience, with George Hammond and James Chisholm providing firepower in the pack. Will Porter and Jarrod Evans cover the halves, with Oscar Beard adding versatility in the backs.

Director of Rugby Billy Millard commented: “It’s been a special build-up. The excitement and energy levels are high and we’re looking forward to another great challenge on Sunday. We know we’re up against a good opponent but we’re relishing the opportunity, there’s no fear amongst our boys and we’re excited to get across to Toulouse and challenge for the result.”

Should Harlequins progress to the Investec Champions Cup final, the Club will update supporters following the match around a small allocation of finalist club tickets in specific seating blocks that will be made available in the middle of next week. Tickets across other areas of the stadium are currently on general sale via EPCR here. Please note that all tickets are managed by EPCR and that supporters should contact EPCR rather than the Club.
