Exeter got off to the perfect start in the second half, with a try just two minutes in putting them in front for the first time 13-10. Shortly after, Bath slotted a penalty to draw the sides level. Exeter then missed a penalty attempt, with Bath edging ahead with a penalty after 64 minutes to lead 16-13. An Exeter try after 76 minutes saw them back in front and the Chiefs sealed the match with a penalty with the final play to keep Bath winless.
