International scrumhalf linked with Gloucester move

Rumours are flying that Scotland scrumhalf Ali Price could be on his way to Gloucester in the wake of Willi Heinz’s departure to Worcester Warriors.

Price has 34 international caps to his name and would form an effective combination with Adam Hastings who has already committed his immediate future to the Cherry & Whites.

The rumours may raise a few eyebrows considering Gloucester already have an array of quality scrumhalves at their disposal with the likes of Joe Simpson, Stephen Varney, Toby Venner and Charlie Chapman still in the picture.

Price, however, has had a fantastic Six Nations campaign of late and has proved that he would be a valuable acquisition for any side.

He is still under contract with Glasgow until the end of the 2021-22 season, which will be something of a spanner in the works for Gloucester should they make a serious move to include him in their ranks.
