Louis Schreuder extends stay at Bath

Louis Schreuder has signed a new contract that will extend his stay with Bath Rugby until the summer of 2025.

The South African joined the Blue, Black and White from Newcastle Falcons in 2022 and has made 30 appearances. 

The 33-year-old scrum-half’s current contract was due to expire at the end of the season but he has now put pen to paper on a one-year extension. 

Schreuder said: “I’m thrilled to have signed a new contract with Bath Rugby. I’ve loved every moment of my journey with the club so far.


Head of Rugby Johann van Graan said: “I am glad that Louis will be staying at Bath Rugby. He is a team man and he’s always looking to improve his game and get better, I am happy that Louis will be staying at Bath Rugby.” 

Schreuder has been capped by the Springboks and has previously played for clubs in South Africa, where he was a three-time Currie Cup winner, Japan, and France.
