PRO 12

Leinster 52-0 Zebre

Leinster came away with a convincing victory against Zebre tonight at the RDS. Utter domination by this young Leinster team, with some great back line play and running rugby on show. With the bonus point secured before half time, the second half was lower in intensity, but Leinster still managed to notch a further 26 points on the night. Ringrose named man of the match as his stock continues to rise.

Ulster 13-10 Glasgow

Ulster came out triumphant over Glasgow at the Kingspan to go top of the PRO 12 table. Glasgow started the better of the two and got on the board through a well worked Lee Jones try. Ruan Pienaar added 3 points from the tee to make it 5-3 to Glasgow at the break. After a scrappy first half, Ulster improved and Callum Black scored his 1st try on his 100th appearance to put Ulster in the lead. Ulster looked to see out the match but 14 men Glasgow fought back at the end as Naiyaravoro dotted down in the last play to secure a losing bonus point.

Scarlets 22-21 Edinburgh

A thrilling game in Wales as the home side win by a point in the dying moments of the game, undeserved possession wise but Scarlets took their chances well with some fantastic kicking from Thomas, after 3 losses on the trot Scarlets end the losing streak. Unlucky from Edinburgh who's work rate was second to none throughout the match. Du Preez the man of the day for Edinburgh but cant take the Man of the match prize as it goes to the Home 8 instead, Morgan Allen.

Aviva Premiership

Newcastle Falcons 26-14 Leicester Tigers

In a game where the away side never really turned up, the Falcons put in their best performance of the season, taking advantage of a side depleted by the 6 nations game this weekend in Rome. Andy Goode rolled back the years against his former side as he was integrally involved in everything good the home side did. With a pack dominating and an outstanding defence, the 12 point gap flattered the Tigers who were outplayed from start to finish on a typically wet night at Kingston Park
