Rory Teague leaves Bordeaux head coach role

Bordeaux Begles has today confirmed the departure of Rory Teague as their head coach.


The Englishman was named as head coach of the club after the departure of Jacques Brunel to the France national team.

Teague was previously backs coach for the club and as a player plied his trade with ProD2 teams Limoges, Tarbes, Aurillac and Grenoble, having previously had spells with Gloucester and Bristol.

"The club salutes the immense work done by Mr. Rory Teague to professionalize the structures of the club and we wish him much success for the rest of his career," said Bordeaux in a statement.

The club has also confirmed that Joe Worsley will be acting head coach.
