Six Nations 2015: Danny Cipriani should have played for England in Dublin, says Sale coach
Stuart Lancaster should have given Danny Cipriani the chance to help rescue England in Dublin last weekend, according to the fly-half's club coach.

Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond said the changes made by Lancaster as England chased the game against Ireland did not work.

Cipriani was the only replacement not used by Lancaster, who preferred to stick with George Ford at fly-half as England lost 19-9.

Cipriani had an instant impact on his return to Six Nations action in the previous match against Italy, scoring a try within 30 seconds of coming on at Twickenham.
