Surprising positional switch for Henry Speight on his Biarittz debut

Former Wallabies, Reds and Brumbies winger Henry Speight is set to make his Biarritz debut this weekend against Perpignan as France's top two professional divisions return to action this week.

The first game of the 2020/21 season kicks off today (Thursday) with Biarritz hosting Perpignan in the PROD2.

Speight joined Perpignan from the Reds after he opted to take up a contract abroad after the pay cuts in Australia and was joined in signing for Biarritz with former Harlequins centre Francis Saili.

In total, Biarritz field seven of their new recruits against Perpignan on Thursday with Speight surprisingly starting at fullback for the side.
