The 5 Best Premiership Signings

The 5 Best Premiership Signings

The Premiership is finally back this week with the Coronavirus not only impacting the season in terms of games but also player movements with a number of players already arriving at the new clubs ahead of the resumption of the 2019/20 season.

While there has been numerous top players set to make their mark on the Premiership, we have narrowed it down to our top five players.

To narrow our list down we have looked at players who will certainly add value to side as well as how influential they can be at the club and how they fit into the side.

5. Agustin Creevy - London Irish

With a mass number of players leaving Madejski Stadium during the lockdown, Les Kiss added a Los Pumas legend to his squad in Agustin Creevy.

With the Exiles looking to build on a reasonably strong start to their return to the Premiership with 5 wins and a draw from 13 games, Creevy adds to the increasingly expanding experience at the club.

Creevy is the cliche of wearing his heart on his sleeve, no matter what colours he is wearing and will take the fight to the opposition regardless of the scoreboard.

4. Kyle Sinckler - Bristol Bears

The Bristol Bears seemed short of one or two world-class players to create a team that is capable of winning the Premiership.

Pat Lam looks to have found those two men, one of which being England and Lions tighthead Kyle Sinckler.

The former Harlequin will provide a massive boost to the Bears pack with John Afoa providing stability and continuity off the bench.

3. Jonny Gray - Exeter Chiefs

Rob Baxter has somewhat of settled squad with the departures of Nic White and soon to be retired, Gareth Steenson. Baxter has signed Australian young gun Jack Walsh to replace Steenson with Joe Simmonds having well and truly taken over as the side's first choice flyhalf while Sam Hidalgo-Clyne has joined to add depth to the squad following White's departure.

With such a settled squad, Baxter opted to add world-class talent to his pack in Jonny Gray. Jonny Hill is continually building in his starting role while Jannes Kirsten has been excellent since joining the side. Exeter have plenty of cover in the second row with Gray just adding an extra punch to the pack to drive the side to a potential title in the Premiership and Champions Cup.

2. Manu Tuilagi - Sale Sharks

Manu Tuilagi's inclusion at no.2 just highlights how big of a coup Bristol Bears have made to claim top spot.

Tuilagi's move was one that came out of the blue after he rejected adjusted terms at Leicester Tigers. He will add to an already strong Sale Sharks midfield and with the side already resuming the season in second place, who knows what that the side can do with one of the best centres in the game for the remainder of the season.

1. Semi Radradra - Bristol Bears

The kind of player that sells tickets.

Semi Radradra is easily one of the most exciting players on the planet and Bristol Bears' fans will be ecstatic that he joined the side earlier than expected.

The Fijian has been successful wherever he has gone and expect nothing less when he turns out at Ashton Gate.
