Tigers fly-half Owen Williams out for nine months


Leicester Tigers fly-half Owen Williams be out for up to nine months after requiring surgery on a knee ligament injury.



Williams picked up the injury in the Tigers' 43-9 win over Cardiff last Saturday and now faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines.

The time frame looks to rule out Williams of potentially lining up for Wales in the forthcoming World Cup.
