Luke Jones to return to Melbourne in 2019

Former Wallabies forward Luke Jones is set to return to Melbourne in 2019 after being granted an early release from his French club Bordeaux.

According to reports, the 27-year-old could leave the club as early as December. Full story

Hurricanes announce Armstrong and Kirifi signings

The Hurricanes have added two more players to their roster for the next two seasons after the signing of prop Fraser Armstrong and loose forward Du'Plessis Kirifi.

Armstrong, 26, was part of the Hurricanes in 2018 and has agreed to a two-year extension at the club after impressing in his rookie season when he made eight appearances. Full story

Surgery not needed for Piutau

Bristol Bears have been given the news that their star signing Charles Piutau won't need surgery and could be available for the newly promoted Premiership club as early as October.

It was initially feared that the full back – who sustained a shoulder injury in the 12-14 pre-season defeat to Connacht – could have been ruled out for 4-6 months. Full story
