WATCH: Finn Russell and Simon Zebo combine to beat Clermont at the death

Racing 92 claimed their fourth TOP14 victory in a row with a win at the Stade Marcel Michelin in round 13 of the TOP14.

The Parisian club needed a late Simon Zebo try to sink Clermont with Finn Russell weighting a perfect cross-kick to the Irish International who swerved past one defender to dot down.

Racing 92 started brightly with two penalties from the boot of Teddy Iribaren before Camille Lopez replied with one of his own in the 18th minute. Fijian International Peni Ravai scored for Clermont in the 23rd minute with Lopez adding the extras and two further penalties to give his side a 10 point lead in the final minutes of the first half. Teddy Iribaren closed the gap to 7 just before the break as Clermont lead 16-9. Lopez reinstated the 10 point lead four minutes into the first half.

Clermont were under the pump in the 55th minute and Rabah Slimani was sent to the sin bin for multiple team infringement and it did not take long for Racing to capitalise with Baptiste Chouzenoux finishing off a well-worked try assisted by Iribaren. The scrum-half added the extras and after the hour mark he slotted a penalty to level the scores in the final quarter.

Lopez edged his side into the lead with 14 minutes to play but it was Racing that had the final say with Russell and Zebo's moment of magic in the 74th minute.

Racing kept Clermont out in the final six minutes to secure their ninth win from 12 TOP14 games.

Racing host league leaders La Rochelle in the next round of action while Clermont head to Pau. Full time: Clermont 22-24 Racing 92.

In other results, Mathieu Jalibert guided Bordeaux to a 31-18 victory over Toulon while Toulouse's stars featured off the bench to sink Montpellier 9-16.

La Rochelle hooker Pierre Bourgarit scored a first-half hattrick to help his side to a 13-43 victory over Agen. 14-man Castres managed to edge Lyon 14-15 before Stade Francais secured a comprehensive 51-21 win over Brive.
